On Holden Street when we were young

We laughed and played in the noonday sun.

Those carefree days went fleeing past,

Those summer days we thought would last.

On Holden Street we learned to ride

Our bikes and skates with childish pride.

We played our games out in the street

And knew the names of all we'd greet.

On Holden street when we were young

When life was simple and filled with fun,

Where home was filled with neighborhood friends

And laughter and love knew no end.

Though memories dim and lose their glow

There's a place called home I'll forever know ...

Holden Street
