The angels were singing on that holy night
to let us know Jesus was born.
A star was shining so heavenly bright
it lit up the sky like the morn.
Shepherds all watched as the star led the way
to a place where the little child lay.
The angels all joined in a heavenly choir
this is a most most glorious day.
They sang hush! hush!
let the little Child's dream
bring peace and joy and love.

and don't be afraid
this child was sent from above.
Three wise men came from a faraway land
to share in the wonderful joy.
What magic had brought them for such a long way
to see such a small baby boy?
