It doesn't cost a penny,
It doesn't cost a dime.
The greatest gift that you can give
Is the precious gift of time.

From the baby in the cradle
To the adult in their prime
It means so very much
If you can spare a little time.

Then as we're growing older,
And in our 'evening time'
