Autumn in her glory
the crisp, clean-scented air
and all around me, beauty
and magic everywhere.
A rush of wind,
leaves flutter to the ground;
and but a thousand angel's wings
could recreate the sound!
The majesty of autumn,
color spilling everywhere.
Nature in her finest clothes,
and ribbons in her hair.
God, in his wisdom,
saved the best for last;
to lead us into winter,
and so the year will pass.
