Sisters, One And All

A sisterhood is what we have,

growing and expanding

across this electronic divide.

A sisterhood not defined

by family bonds or expectations.

We share our thoughts,

our hopes, our fears...

we share the changes brought

with every passing year.

We share smiles and laughter,

and wipe away the tears

of sorrow and defeat...

and give each other strength

to face yet another day.

But most of all,

we listen and we care

and we love unconditionally.

And I'm so thankful to know

that my "sister" will always be there.
